Here at Zucchini and Vine, the leisurely pace of summer has allowed us the opportunity to explore some new ideas we’ve been chewing on. We’re excited to share some with you!

Last Friday, we brought in a local cheese-maker, Patrice Inglis, to teach a 25-person group about where and how fine Spanish cheeses are produced. It was an awesome and tasty Friday night – we learned a lot and had a great time! We hope it’s the first of many Cheese Club soirees to come.

Earlier in June we had a mini block party for our neighbors on the West side of Main Street between Second and Third streets. We wanted everyone to meet and welcome two new stores on the block – Syllabus and Montana Blues.

Talk turned to ways we can improve the Downtown Chico shopping experience for our clients and friends – everything from ideas about Christmas Preview to parking meters! It may look quiet downtown in the summer, but there’s a lot of paddling going on under the surface.

Bridal Registry now online!

Come down and enjoy your town – the shops are cool, and parking’s a breeze while the students are gone. Give us your feedback on our efforts – like our new online bridal registry, the Friday night cheese tastings, and how to make our little corner of the world even more fun and interesting. We’d love to hear from you!

Nice post. I learn something tougher on different blogs everyday. It’s going to always be stimulating to learn content from other writers and follow a little something from their store. I’d desire to use some with the content on my weblog whether or not you don’t mind. Natually I’ll offer you a link in your net blog. Thanks for sharing.
